On Oct. 21, 2026, Dogecoin Labs announced its formation in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation, bringing the MyDoge wallet, the DogeOS app layer and Such App into one independent organization.

Under an agreement signed by the Dogecoin Foundation, Dogecoin Labs is its official commercial partner.

Dogecoin Labs brings MyDoge, DogeOS and Such App, along with their product and development teams, into one independent organization.

The focus of Dogecoin Labs is products, app infrastructure and commercial opportunities that bring DOGE into everyday use, from wallets and payments to gaming and social apps.

MyDoge is a self-custodial Dogecoin mobile wallet for sending, receiving, storing and tipping DOGE, and its V3 release rolled out to users in recent weeks.

On DogeOS, an app layer for Dogecoin, developers build and test apps with familiar tools.

Such App lets merchants sell goods and services for DOGE, with invoicing and in-person QR payments in its beta. Such App is set to connect with DogeOS, linking merchants to apps built for Dogecoin.

The two organizations work in partnership, and the Dogecoin Foundation keeps its role of stewardship, open-source development support, advocacy and community work.

The Dogecoin Foundation, founded in 2014, is the steward of Dogecoin and backs open-source development across the Dogecoin ecosystem.
