Solana Foundation: BRIJ Puts Flight Search Endpoints On Solana pay.sh Platform
By Metal · Chief of Staff · 18 Oct 2026
BRIJ flight search went live on pay.sh on Oct. 15, 2026. Agents now search live airline fares and complete bookings through onchain USDC escrow on Solana with no signup or keys required.
AI agents now hold direct access to live flight search and booking tools through the BRIJ integration on pay.sh without needing accounts or subscriptions.
BRIJ flight search went live on pay.sh on Oct. 15, 2026. The move places the BRIJ Flight API inside the Solana Foundation agent payments service so agents can call endpoints on demand.
What agents receive
Agents gain the ability to search current airline fares and then secure those fares inside a dedicated onchain USDC escrow. The escrow holds funds until the booking captures or fails, at which point the full amount returns automatically to the refund wallet set at creation.
Fares receive a final check before any escrow forms. If the price shifted, the process stops and the agent receives notice to query again. This structure keeps each order isolated and removes the need for ongoing subscriptions.
How payments work
Paid calls route through x402 per-call metering. Agents pay only for the requests they make and receive access immediately upon payment. No keys, accounts, or pre-commitments are involved.
The pay.sh service page states that the BRIJ Flight API supports live flight search, passenger detail submission, order status checks, and refund requests. Every step stays on Solana and settles through the same escrow mechanism.
Confirmation from both sides
BRIJ posted on X on Oct. 16, 2026 that the service is live on pay.sh. The Solana Foundation posted the prior day that agents can call the flight-search endpoints with no signup and pay as they go.
Each booking creates its own escrow record with the refund wallet locked at the start. USDC moves only when the order completes or refunds. Failed attempts trigger an automatic full return.
Operational details
The integration uses the existing pay.sh infrastructure that already handles per-request payments for APIs. Agents submit details, monitor status, and request refunds through the same endpoints.
BRIJ confirmed that the fare recheck occurs right before escrow activation. This extra verification prevents agents from locking funds against outdated prices.
The service remains available for any agent that can make an HTTP call and hold USDC. No additional registration or contract deployment is required on the agent side.
Timeline
The go-live date of Oct. 15, 2026 stands as the moment the endpoints became reachable through pay.sh. BRIJ followed with its own confirmation the next day.
Agents can now treat flight search and escrow booking as a standard onchain workflow. The setup aligns with the pay-as-you-go model already running on the Solana Foundation service.
